Description
This app was created while I was experimenting a bit with Claude Code and similar tools. It is an N-body simulation that can be used, for example, to simulate our solar system.
- Positions of planets, moons, and asteroids are retrieved via NASA data services
- Various scenarios are available, such as the solar system, Saturn with its moons and rings, galaxies, etc.
- Celestial bodies can be manually added to a simulation. for example, you can simulate what would happen if another star passed through our solar system
- Celestial bodies can be made to explode with a click, allowing you to simulate, for example, how Saturn might have formed its rings
- You can select any date for the simulation. For example, if you set the date to August 2, 2026 at around 10 AM, you can see what a solar eclipse on Earth looks like from space
