Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of software products, software licenses, subscriptions, and add-ons offered through this website.
The products are available to both individual consumers and business customers.
2. Contracting Party
The contracting party is the provider identified in the Legal Notice (Imprint) or Contact section of this website.
Where payments are processed by a Merchant of Record (such as Paddle), the Merchant of Record acts as the seller for payment and tax purposes. Software development, licensing, updates, and customer support remain the responsibility of the software provider.
3. Products
The products offered may include:
- Perpetual software licenses
- Software subscriptions
- Software add-ons
- Digital content
The specific features and functionality of each product are described on the respective product page.
4. License Grant
Upon successful purchase, the customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased software.
Unless otherwise stated, the license permits installation and activation on the number of devices specified on the product page.
The customer may create backup copies for personal use.
The following actions are prohibited unless permitted by applicable law:
- reselling license keys,
- sublicensing,
- renting or leasing the software,
- publicly distributing license keys,
- removing copyright notices,
- reverse engineering, decompiling or modifying the software except where legally permitted.
5. Updates
Unless otherwise stated, purchased licenses include free updates within the respective product version.
Major new versions or additional features are only included where explicitly stated.
6. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not affect the current subscription period.
7. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed at checkout apply at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by the designated payment provider or Merchant of Record.
Accepted payment methods depend on the payment provider.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with the Refund Policy published on this website.
Where a Merchant of Record is used, refunds are processed through that provider.
9. Warranty
The software is provided with the statutory warranty rights applicable under mandatory law.
The provider does not warrant that the software will operate uninterrupted or be compatible with every hardware or software environment.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption is excluded.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to foreseeable damages arising from the contractual relationship.
11. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
