RAW transfer

Hello,

I am new to this program, but I found very interesting and usefull. Thank you for this.
But I have problem with the latest version. I am running Win 7 64 bit and Camera Pentax k-x.

On my card I have JPG + PEF (RAW) files.

I want to store PEF files into different directory, but when I choose apply only on JPG files, it stores JPG and also PEF files.
In the thumbnails preview it is also not showing PEF files and thumbnails.

When I choose only PEF files it saves nothing.

I found this version:

(I dont understand it very precisely)

Its older version 1.6.3.7 and it works good.
It also shows blank thumbnails of PEF files – therefore I know that the program cen see these files.

For me the solution is to use this version. I would like – of course – to use the latest one. Do you have any Idea ?

If you would like to correct it I am very open to any test actions or any help you will need. Thank you !

Hi,

you probably have the option ‚Group files by filename without extension‘ turned on. You can find this in the settings window, on tab ‚Preview/Import‘. Try to turn it off, and tell me what happens. ATM i can’t see why the 32bit-only version of WIA-Loader would be of any help to you, since you’re not working with canon raw files.

many thanks for your help. It was really that. I don’t remember that I changed this settings,
but probebly the 32bit version had this option disabled by default.

Yeah, i think i remember. I thought that most people would like to keep their JPEGs and RAWs together, so i decided to make this option ‚on‘ by default.

Hello again,
I have the similar problem. I tried version 1.7.1 and I can’t see in preview both jpg and RAW files. ‚Group files by filename without extension‘ is turned off. Unfortunetely I don’t have backed up version 1.7.0 and I can’t find it on the Internet.
