Importing Canon pictures SDM profile

Hello!

After many tests, I realise that Wia-Loader is able to import and rename my pictures from my A720 IS and SX200 IS, but only with the card reader; when the cameras are USB plugged, I can import but the suffix R or L with SDM profile is not effective, only"U"!!! 🙁
So I decide to install the Canon tool suite in order to have the Canon WIA drivers on my PC (XP SP3), but it is the same;
No suffix with USB, only with Card reader…
Is there something to do???

I’m afraid to say, that there’s probably nothing you can do about that. What files are reported to WIA-Loader when using direct USB connection, depends on the WIA driver of the cameras you’re using. You should contact the authors of SDM, maybe they have an idea how to solve this. I’m no expert in stereoscopic photography ……
