pmBubbles stores game settings locally on your device, such as board size, number of colors, selected theme, local highscores and whether the retro look is enabled.
pmBubbles may transmit a small amount of gameplay and diagnostic information to improve the app, such as the selected board size, number of colors, difficulty, score events and crash or diagnostic reports.
The global leaderboard is optional. If you enable it, pmBubbles transmits and stores the following data on the pmBubbles backend hosted under mortara.org:
Your player name and scores may be displayed publicly in the global leaderboard. Your email address is not displayed publicly.
You can disable the global leaderboard in the app settings. You can also request deletion of your leaderboard user and associated global highscores from within the app.
On Android, pmBubbles may display ads using Google Mobile Ads / Google AdMob. Google may collect or receive data such as device identifiers, IP address, app interaction data, diagnostics and other data needed for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention and service operation. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's own privacy and AdMob documentation.
If you purchase the ad-free option, ads are disabled in the app.
pmBubbles may offer an in-app purchase to remove ads. Payment processing is handled by the relevant app store provider, such as Google Play or Microsoft Store. pmBubbles does not receive or store your payment card details.
Data is processed to provide the app, save user preferences, operate the optional global leaderboard, improve reliability, diagnose crashes, prevent abuse and, where applicable, display advertising.
Data may be processed by service providers required to operate the app, including hosting services for the leaderboard and monitoring backend, Google for mobile advertising on Android, and app store providers for purchases. Data is not sold by the app developer.
Local settings and local highscores remain on your device until you delete the app data or uninstall the app. Global leaderboard data is kept as long as the leaderboard entry or player account exists, unless deletion is requested. Diagnostic data is kept only as long as reasonably needed to analyze and improve app reliability.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact mortara@gmail.com.
