The new beta-version (1.5.4.4) contains a new feature for the import-preview. This has to be activated in the main settings window.

The new feature refreshes the import-preview (the list on the right) everytime you select or unselect an image in the list on the left. Only those pictures are shown in the right list that are activated in the left list. The new preselect function from the context menu is also considered for the import-preview list.
