No, not directly! I'm trying to keep WIA-Loader as compatible as possible to the Mono Framework. This makes it possible to run WIA-Loader on Linux or MacOS. Some specific features only work on Windows though:

- Direct control of your camera (to take a picture for example)

- automatic startup of WIA-Loader when you connect your camera or memory-card

On a linux system with Mono 2.4.3 WIA-Loader runs quite good and can be used almost flawlessly. On MacOS there still are some problems which make WIA-Loader nearly useless. I hope this gets better with one of the next versions of Mono.
